Tennis Summer Camp at Riverside Ends with Record Attendance!
Our tennis summer camp wrapped up with a record 343 kids in attendance over the nine-week program (our biggest turnout ever). A huge thank you to the USTA for their assistance and support and our incredible tennis professionals Michael Daugherty, Justin Dimaio and all our assistant coaches who made it possible.
Campers had a blast on the courts all summer, staying true to Mardy's Six Healthy Habits by staying hydrated, being active and making friends - though we think they're ready for the Florida heat to cool off!
Mac Antle Hosts Fishing Summer Camp Success!
This month, Mac Antle along with Chandler Zorc, and Duke Thompson were featured as the lead article in Veros Voice Magazine, spotlighting the success of their fishing summer camp and the impact it's had on kids in our community.

Program Spotlight: OCP Community Outreach
This summer, OCP Community Outreach's Purpose Driven Youth program supported 30 students (grades 9–12) through work readiness training, college planning, and community service.
The results speak for themselves: 93% of seniors graduated and were accepted into a 2–4 year college or technical school, 96% improved their work communication and resume-writing skills, and the Class of 2026 was awarded over $714,000 in scholarships. Eleven students also earned their Youth Employment Success Solutions Work Certification.
Best of all, the program offers these students a community and a team dedicated to motivating and supporting them as they strive to reach their fullest potential.
Program Spotlight: IRSC Upward Bound
This summer, TRIO Upward Bound's Summer Academy "Climbing Higher: Mapping Our Career Journey" — brought together 55 students for six weeks of career exploration, college readiness, and leadership development. Highlights included a Monday Career Speaker Series featuring keynote speaker Dr. Jefferson Noel on Executive Presence, weekly Thursday field trips to colleges and local organizations, a hands-on STEM/physics workshop, and a five-day college tour of Georgia. The program culminated in a Career Capstone Project Showcase attended by over 100 parents and community members, where students presented their career research to families, educators, and local professionals.
Programs like TRIO Upward Bound do more than fill a summer schedule. They give students a sense of direction, motivation, and the leadership skills to carry into the rest of their lives. Many of these students are first-generation and low-income high schoolers who may not otherwise have access to this level of career exposure, mentorship, and college preparation.
This summer's academy also leaned on the strength of six returning Upward Bound alumni, now college students themselves, who served as teacher aides and mentors — proof that the program's impact carries forward year after year.
None of this happens without Program Director Jody Idlette and her dedicated instructional team, whose commitment to Indian River County's youth continues to shape a program the community can be proud of. In her own words, Jody shared how deeply grateful IRSC Upward Bound is for the Mardy Fish Children's Foundation's partnership, noting that it allows students to experience programming that "would not otherwise be possible."
