2024 USTA Pro Circuit Tennis Tournament - It’s a Wrap🎾

The Sunday finals wrapped up late afternoon with an exciting win 7/6, 6/2 by Garrett Johns, our number 2 seed, over Victor Lilov, our number 3 seed. The pre match perfomance was a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem sung by the Storm Grove Middle School Chorus. Sunshine, a large crowd, great music by Edmund Nalzaro, our DJ for the week, and some tasty food by The Saussie Pig food truck provided a great atmosphere for our tournament finale! Lucky Seven List Contest Results: Unfortunately, we did not have a winner on our lucky list contest but John McConnell and Alan Wilkinson were very close with just two words off! The winning list order was: volley, love, net, serve, forehand, deuce, ace. Thank you Mike Williams for sponsoring that contest for us!
Thank you to the Van Deinse family and VBTC and their members for being such wonderful hosts. Thank you volunteers for helping us pull off this huge event. And thank you sponsors for all of your financial support. The money we raised from the week-long tournament will help us pay for our 2024 summer and fall kids' programs. That’s a lot of children we will be keeping healthy, safe and active and learning Mardy’s 6 Healthy Habits!!!
